本来ならば a near-record number of fires burning in the Pantanal area of Brazil are reported .(ブラジルのパンタナル湿原で燃えている、記録的と言ってもよいほどの件数の火災が報告されています。)

fires are reported burning

The Pantanal (Portuguese pronunciation: [pɐ̃taˈnaw]) is a natural region encompassing the world's largest tropical wetland area, and the world's largest flooded grasslands.
