I had a joyful talk with Happy san. We talked about 48 hiragana, 48 katakana and 2,000 kanji, showing 山 川 口. Simple Kanji represents the shape of things. For these simple one it would be easy to remember for you. If you remember 2,000 kanji, you can read Japanese newspaper.. Japanese sentences could be written from the top to bottom and left to right, two ways.. Your name ハッピー in Japanese katakana, You could guess 川、口and 森 of kanji.
